What is the difference between a termite breach and a termite bridge?
A breach is termites getting through the barrier system itself, and it is exactly what the Pledge Guarantee covers. A bridge is termites building around the barrier over something added after construction – garden beds raised against the slab edge, pavers or attachments fixed to the side of the house. Avoiding termite bridging is simple: keep the slab edge and inspection zone clear. It is one of the most valuable things a Central Queensland homeowner can know.
Do you provide Form 16 certification in Queensland?
Yes. On completion of the installation, we supply the Form 16 confirming the termite management system has been installed in accordance with AS 3660.1 and the National Construction Code. Builders receive the documentation needed for certification and handover without having to chase it.
