Can I lay artificial grass myself?
Yes, you can install artificial grass yourself as a DIY project. Alternatively, you can get your artificial lawn professionally installed by a business.

Does artificial grass drain water?
Yes, high-quality artificial grass will drain water without issue. The perforated backing on Termiturf artificial grass rolls allows water to pass through, preventing water from pooling on top of the lawn.
Is artificial grass cheaper than real grass?
Yes. Artificial grass is cheaper than real grass. Rolls of artificial grass may cost more to purchase and install initially, but over the long-term, the maintenance costs will be significantly less compared to natural grass.

Does artificial grass get hot?
Yes, at the height of an Australian summer with very high temperatures and after long hours in direct sunlight, artificial grass can get hot.
However, even in the hottest conditions, artificial turf will not dry out or die like real grass and unlike with paving, artificial grass does not retain heat and cools down very quickly once in shadow.
Is artificial grass suitable for my pets?
Yes, artificial grass is suitable for pets and offers benefits over traditional lawns, such as preventing prickles and grass seeds from collecting in fur and making it harder for dogs to dig holes.
Does artificial grass need maintenance?

Can weeds grow through artificial grass?

If weeds do appear in your artificial lawn, they can be easily removed by hand or with herbicide, just like with a natural lawn.
