The Termimesh System
The Termimesh System is an innovative product manufactured from superior marine grade stainless steel. With a worldwide record of proven protection with many installations in major commercial projects such as multi residential apartments, schools, hospitals and retirement villages. Termimesh is also poison free, safe and extremely effective, making it the preferred choice for government projects.
The Termimesh System is certified with CodeMark CM30012. Extensive quality control processes from manufacture to installation enable consistent installations in compliance with the requirements of the National Construction Code and the rigorous standards of our parent company TMA Corporation.
The Termimesh System is a termite management system as defined in Australian Standard 3660.1 2014 Section 5. The purpose of a termite management system in new construction is to deter concealed entry from the soil into the building. Australian Standards also recommend regular termite inspections.
Consider these additional features
Along with the compliance benefits, Termimesh works beautifully too. A termite mesh barrier that is too fine for termites to crawl through and too tough to be chewed through, sees the system integrated into the construction of new homes and buildings. Termimesh seals off potential concealed termite entry points, while delivering the following additional benefits.
- Proven durability from the use of high quality materials
- Installed to Australian Standards
- LEED rated by the US Green Building Council
- Meets earthquake resistant construction criteria
- Full range of installation specifications for commercial and residential construction
- On site experience and supervision to ensure a smooth construction schedule with other trades
- Backed by a national network to ensure consistent installation and post installation follow up
- Unique Pledge Guarantee for commercial and residential construction
- Environmentally friendly protection

Smartfilm
Smartfilm is unique to our Australian network and is a proven chemical impregnated blanket which is repellent to termites. All Smartfilm installation specifications are quality controlled and satisfy the requirements for termite management systems under the National Construction Code of Australia and Australian Standard 3660.1.
Smartfilm perimeter installations exclusively use Termimesh penetration protection as added benefit to the system. Read more about our exclusive termite blanket here.
Chemical Reticulation
These are rechargeable, piping systems that deliver liquid termiticide to the soil next to critical areas under and around the house. The treated soil is a deterrent to termites. As any termiticide will break down in a few years, reticulation systems offer the benefit of being able to treat the soil without disruption.
Again as an added benefit and higher level of protection, only our network installs Termimesh penetration protection with every reticulation installation. Your local Termi Home & Commercial team will be able to provice more information.
Hand Sprayed Chemical Soil
Primarily now only used in Western Australia, this method involves the application of a termiticide to the soil under the slab, garage floor and around the outside walls. The treated soil is a deterrent to termites. To increase the level of protection with this method, we also install Termimesh to all service penetrations.
The chemically treated perimeter soil will typically break down within 5 years and further retreatments will be required to maintain the effectiveness of the soil, although the Termimesh penetration protection will still remain effective. To learn more about this system contact your local Service Centre.
